‘Has she been pregnant for the last 12 years?’ She smirked to herself at her own joke and shook her head. ‘Do you know any more about the child?’
“It’s healthy, as far as I know.” he said, clenching his teeth at the way she spoke about Candice and giving her a harsh, warning glare.
